****ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS-AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 8/12
Oki is a 1.5-year-old, 29-pound Chihuahua mix who came to us with Coco when their family could no longer care for them.
And Oki is one of those dogs you look at and immediately have questions. Twenty-nine pounds, short legs, long body, floppy ears, brindle from end to end—and whatever combination created him, we're not arguing with the results.
Because this boy is sweet.
Oki has lived successfully in a home and was reported to be housetrained. As with any dog moving into a new home, expect a learning curve while they adjust to a new schedule, routine and environment. Oki has lived with a young child and walks very nicely on leash. He wasn't particularly fazed by the barking and commotion of the shelter either. He simply rolled with the enormous change in his life and started making friends.
These two deserved a soft landing after a confusing day, and we're pretty damn happy they landed with us.
Oki has been brought current on his vaccines, his rabies vaccination was already current, he is microchipped, has been Neutered, dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
