This adorable 4-pound black Chihuahua was rescued from the euthanasia list at Downey Animal Shelter and is now getting his second chance. ❤ï ̧
He’s about 4 years old and has lots of energy! He’s still learning the basics — including house training and walking on a leash — but his foster family is patiently helping him along.
He can be a little shy with new people, but once he trusts you, he LOVES attention and will definitely let you know when he wants more!

We think he may have spent much of his life as a backyard dog, so he’s still learning about all the good things that come with being a family dog.
