Torres is a 20 pound, 2 year old long haired Chihuahua mix with a DOB of 7/14/2024. What breed is Torres beyond that? Energetic. Loving. Beautiful. We’re pretty sure those are breeds too, right?

Torres is a sweet, sociable guy who is absolutely thrilled about his new life and has decided he doesn’t want to miss a single minute of it! He loves people, gets along with dogs big and small, and has learned that the kitty cat is our friend. He may be curious about cats, but he’s willing to listen when they tell him to mind his business.

And then there’s the energy. Torres can be hyper, he can be vocal, and he is ready to GO! We suspect there may be some herding dog genes hiding in that handsome body. He’s also very attentive and eager to engage with his people, so we think this smart boy has tons of potential for learning tricks and putting that busy brain to work. When nap time finally arrives, though, Torres takes his ZZZs seriously.

It’s hard to believe looking at him now, but Torres came to us with a severe flea infestation and flea dermatitis. His allergic reaction was so bad that he had lost a significant amount of his coat and was practically half naked. With flea control, medicated baths, proper nutrition, and lots of TLC, Torres has transformed into the handsome guy you see today, complete with that gorgeous wavy black coat.

Torres is crate trained, house trained, good on a leash, good in the car, dog friendly, and cat respectful. He’s looking for a family ready to embrace his enthusiasm for life and give him plenty to do, plenty to love, and eventually, plenty of naps.

Torres is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and his adoption fee is $300.
