Max - Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher Dog for Adoption in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Max’s owner recently died, and we (and the doctors at Jackson Square!) have been taking care of him. We love him very much, but already have our hands full with several other fur babies.
He’s over 2 years old (not quite sure), 22 pounds, a neutered male, up-to-date on vaccinations, house trained, and has thrived on chicken/rice-based kibble. He is well-socialized, and plays well with other dogs and cats once they have met.
Outside, he loves “following his nose”, exploring, and chasing squirrels, birds and rabbits.
Inside, he loves chewing on elk horn, bully chews, getting Milk-bone treats, playing with his various toys, and fetching.
Most importantly, he insists he’s a little lap dog. He loves being a constant companion next to you or on your lap.
