Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, August 15th at Pet Food Express Alameda from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.
Bob is a very sweet, very shy "Chiweenie" (Chihuahua/dachshund mix) who was surrendered with his two siblings. It's obvious these three have not had much exposure to the outside world as everything seems new to them. They are curious little babies though and love to explore and wag their tails non-stop! Watching them discover new things is such a delight.
Bob is a playful, happy puppy. He's medium energy when he's not sound asleep. He's doing great with crate training and potty training - he stays in a pen overnight and when unsupervised and seems to have good bladder control although he is still learning where is appropriate to go. He loves his plush donut bed and loves to burrow under a soft blankie. We haven't heard him bark yet but he was slightly whiny in the car until he fell sound asleep.
Because he is so tiny I don't think a home with young children would work unless they are VERY gentle. I also think a very chaotic home might be too much for this little guy, as he grows into the confident dog we know he can be.
