Tequila is a 4-year-old, 26.2-pound Chihuahua mix with a stunning smile, expressive ears, and a face that belongs on the cover of a magazine. This beautiful, photogenic girl is impossible not to notice, and once you meet her, you'll be rooting for her happy ending.

Tequila walks wonderfully on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore the world. She has shown interest in other dogs but seems apprehensive. A meet and greet with any resident dogs will be required to ensure everyone is a good match.

While Tequila is still learning that people can be trusted, she doesn't seem to enjoy being touched just yet. We don't know what her past has been like, but it's clear she deserves someone who will let her move at her own pace. With a patient, gentle adopter who understands that trust takes time, we truly believe Tequila will blossom into an incredible companion.

She even lit up when she spotted a toy, she wasn't quite ready to play, but her curiosity was impossible to miss. It's moments like those that remind us there's a playful, happy pup just waiting to feel safe enough to let her personality shine.
