Meet Huahua, an adorable Chihuahua with a loving heart and so much affection to give! This sweet little boy is searching for a patient, understanding family who will love him unconditionally and make him feel safe and cherished.

A Little About Huahua

Huahua may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he gets to know you, his true personality shines! He becomes incredibly affectionate, loyal, and deeply attached to his special person.

He absolutely LOVES belly rubs! He will happily roll onto his back, asking for some extra love and attention. He also enjoys being held, cuddling on your lap, and simply staying close to his favorite human.

Huahua is the kind of dog who wants to be your little shadow, following you around the house and sharing life’s everyday moments with you.

Personality & Socialization

* Affectionate, loyal, and well-behaved
* Generally gets along with small dogs his size
* Not comfortable around large dogs
* Previously lived peacefully with a cat, although he may need time to adjust to a new feline friend
* Not particularly comfortable around children, so an adult-only home would be ideal
* Loves playing fetch with his stuffed toys
* Enjoys chasing squirrels
* Protective of his favorite person and may bark to alert you to visitors or unfamiliar noises

Daily Care

* Fully house-trained
* Neutered
* Microchipped
* Moderate energy level
* Needs potty breaks approximately every 6 hours
* Eats twice daily
* Prefers companionship and should ideally not be left alone for more than 1–4 hours

Huahua would thrive in a calm, loving household with someone who enjoys having a devoted little companion by their side.

His ideal family would:

* Offer patience while he adjusts to his new surroundings
* Understand his protective Chihuahua personality
