Say hello to Donna, a sweet Chihuahua/Beagle mix who is looking for a very special forever home—together with her sister, Dorothy!

Donna and Dorothy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. These two girls have been through a lot, and having each other has helped them navigate the world. They are both nervous, sensitive girls who need patient adopters willing to give them the time and space they need to feel safe and comfortable.

Donna and Dorothy came to Hooves & Paws as owner surrenders after previously living outside loose. They are now learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for, and we know that with the right family, these girls will continue to blossom.

Donna is close to two years old and is looking for someone who understands that earning a nervous dog's trust takes time. She may not be the type of dog who immediately runs up to greet you, but with patience, consistency, and love, she can learn that she finally has a family she can count on.
