Sweet Little Dutchess ("Ducky") Is Ready to Find Her Forever Family! Affectionately called "Ducky" by her foster mom, (She loves the water) sweet little Dutchess came to Animal Friends Connection after her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her following major back surgery. She loved Ducky dearly but could no longer care for such an active little puppy. Born on February 26, 2026, Dutchess weighs just 6 pounds. We believe she may be a Chihuahua/Yorkshire Terrier ("Chorkie") mix, with all the charm and personality that comes with it. Ducky is a true Velcro dog who loves being close to her people. You'll rarely find her far from your feet, and if you're looking for puppy kisses, she's more than happy to oblige! She is affectionate, loving, and happiest when she's with her family. Like many young puppies, Dutchess is still learning. She is not yet house-trained, but she is doing well using potty pads. She's a smart little girl who already knows the commands "stay," "down," and "come." Once she is fully vaccinated, she'll be ready to begin leash training and continue learning all the skills she needs to become an amazing companion. Because of her Yorkie heritage, Dutchess will require **regular grooming** to keep her soft coat looking its best. Dutchess is scheduled to be **spayed soon**, but we're accepting applications now so she can find the loving forever home she deserves. She is **current on her vaccinations**, has been **flea treated**, and **dewormed**.
