Hi there! My name is Maggie... although around my foster home I'm also lovingly called Mama or Monkey.

For most of my life, I've been busy taking care of everyone else.

I came from a home where I spent my time having litter after litter, and I never really had the chance to simply be someone's beloved dog. I started having puppies far too young, and I've never known what it's like to just relax and enjoy being loved.

Now that my last litter has grown up and is ready to find their own forever families, it's finally my turn.

I'm a sweet, petite little girl with a gentle, timid heart who's looking for a soft place to land. I dream of a home where I can leave my worries behind, curl up beside my favorite person, and spend the rest of my life knowing I'm safe.

My foster family has shown me what love feels like, and I've discovered that I absolutely adore cuddling. Every night I sleep right beside my foster, and I happily snooze until the alarm goes off in the morning. Those quiet moments together have become some of my favorite parts of the day.

I get along beautifully with the other dogs in my foster home and even the resident cat, so I'd be happy joining a family with other respectful pets. I also think I'd be perfectly content as your one-and-only companion, soaking up all the love I've missed out on.

While I can stay in a crate if needed, I'd much rather be curled up beside my people. My foster simply lets me outside throughout the day, and I've been doing a wonderful job with my potty routine.

More than anything, I'm looking for someone who understands that I've spent my whole life caring for others, and now it's finally my turn to be cared for.
