Meet Churro!

Churro's story started on the streets of Detroit, where he was found living alongside a stray cat colony. Because of his rough start, he's still learning that life can be safe, predictable, and full of love. He's a young guy with lots of energy and enthusiasm, and he's looking for a family that will help him build confidence and show him the joys of being a carefree dog.

Churro would love a playful canine companion to romp around with, especially one that enjoys wrestling, chasing, and all the fun that comes with having a best dog friend. After playtime is over and he knows he's safe, his softer side shines through. He'll happily curl up as close to you as possible and drift right off to sleep.

Like many young dogs, Churro is still working on his house training, but he's making good progress and does pretty well when left home on his own. He's eager to learn and would thrive with someone who has the patience and time to continue his obedience training and help him understand what it means to be part of a loving family.

Churro is looking for a home that will give him guidance, consistency, and plenty of affection. In return, you'll get one of the sweetest little dogs around and the opportunity to watch him grow into the confident, happy companion he was always meant to be.
