Hi there, I'm Morel! I was named after a little mushroom because, when the big, loud world gets to be a bit too much for me, I tend to "sprout" under things. Whether it's my bed, a cozy blanket, or even just a stray piece of newspaper, if I'm feeling overwhelmed, that's where you'll find me hiding out until the coast is clear.

I'm a calm and collected soul with a sleek, dark black coat and deep orange eyes that my friends say look like I'm trying to read your mind-or maybe just gently take control of it. Once I warm up to you and realize I'm safe, those "mind-control" eyes will just be looking for some love. I'm incredibly sweet and affectionate, and I even have a secret playful streak that comes out once I know I can trust you.

I'm looking for a patient human who doesn't mind a roommate who occasionally doubles as a professional hide-and-seek champion. If you have a quiet home and a soft spot for a sensitive boy who just needs a little time to bloom, I'd love to stare into your soul and become your best friend.
