DESCRIPTION
Blaze is a 9-10 year old female chihuahua. She came from a very large scale hoarding case with over 140 dogs. They were living in their own filth, had never been house trained, and didn't have access to medical care or clean food and water. We are working our way up to getting Blaze in healthy shape. She was spayed as soon as she arrived due to a pyometra (uterine infection). She had all of her remaining teeth removed due to severe dental disease. She is heartworm negative and vaccinated. She has had senior bloodwork and been treated for fleas and ticks. Blaze needs a patient owner who can help her feel safe and learn to trust humans. She will also need someone who can work with her on house training. She has never been on a leash before. We would not recommend a bust household or one with small children.
