Sparkle - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Kempner, Texas

Hi, I'm Sparkle! I'm an 8-month-old black Chihuahua with a big personality packed into my tiny 12.6-pound frame — already spayed and ready for my forever home. I'm adventurous and playful, but I've also got a gentle, affectionate side that comes out when I'm snuggled up with my people. I do great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making me a perfect fit for active families. Fair warning: I take my job as backyard security detail very seriously (those birds don't stand a chance! ), but mostly I just want to be your loyal, cuddly little sidekick. Come meet me and let's start our next adventure together!

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

We are dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned dogs in our community and in Texas.
