Meet Miss Prissy (aka Charlie)

Don't let her fancy given name fool you—Miss Prissy is better known as Charlie, or our sweet Charlie Girl!

Charlie is a 2 1/2 year old sweetheart who had a rough beginning, but you would never know it by meeting her today. She has such a happy, loving spirit and is simply grateful to be surrounded by people who love her.

Charlie absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine companion to play with. She also has a serious love for toys! In fact, if Charlie has a favorite toy, you can pretty much count on it going everywhere she goes. It's her little security blanket and best friend all rolled into one!

She adores people and loves nothing more than being with her humans. Charlie is eager to please, a quick learner, and loves showing off her adorable “sit pretty.” She still has plenty of puppy-like fun in her, including the occasional zoomies that remind everyone she's only 2 1/2!

When the day winds down, Charlie knows exactly what time it is: bedtime! She loves being tucked into her own cozy bed, but she's also perfectly happy to wait patiently until her people invite her into theirs. Really, she just wants to be wherever her people are.

Charlie is the kind of dog who doesn't need much to be happy—a loving family, a few toys, a cozy bed, and someone to call her own. She has so much love to give and is ready for the forever family she deserves.

Charlie Girl is proof that a difficult beginning doesn't have to define a beautiful future.
