Meet Tank!

Tank and his tiny siblings never should have had to learn about the world this way. They were left along a road in the Houston area, alone, scared and vulnerable. Thankfully, they were found and brought to a local shelter where shortly after, our rescue was contacted to help. We quickly stepped and now these puppies are safe in loving foster homes (in the Houston area) where they are receiving the care and attention they deserve and finally being able to just be happy puppies.

Now happy and healthy, Tank is ready for the part of his story we have been hoping for all along—a family of his very own. He has already come so far in his short little life, and all he needs now is someone who will make sure the rest of his story is filled with love, safety, and a forever home.

Why a Chihuahua Mix?

Chihuahua mixes may be tiny, but they have huge personalities and even bigger hearts! They are often affectionate, devoted little companions who love being close to their people. Their small size makes them wonderful companions for many different types of homes, and they can be playful, silly, cuddly, and incredibly loyal. With the right family, a Chihuahua mix can become that little shadow who follows you around and makes you smile every day.

Tank's perfect family:

Tank would love a family who understands that puppies need patience, consistency, training, and lots of love as they grow. His ideal home will give him plenty of opportunities to play and explore, while also helping him learn what it means to be a well-mannered family member. Tank is a playful, active, happy little guy and will do great with an active family with kids and/or other dogs. His foster mom states that he is a great balance of an energetic puppy but also knows how to be sweet and calm with the other dogs in the house and his foster family.
He doesn't need a perfect family—just a forever family who will love him, teach him, protect him, and never give up on him.
