Named after the fierce Marvel heroine, this little warrior has already fought battles tougher than most dogs ever should.
At only 9lbs, Valkyrie was rescued from a hoarding situation alongside 44 other dogs. When she first arrived, she was painfully thin, frightened, and fighting just to survive. Today, her ribs are no longer visible, her spirit is shining, she has gained a couple pounds, and her energy is absolutely endless.
Valkyrie would thrive in a home with another small dog to play with and help continue building her confidence. She adores her people and believes laps were specifically invented for her.
Because of her past, she does still show some slight food aggression, though she has already made great progress. Honestly, after nearly starving to death, its hard to blame her. She just needs patience, understanding, and a family willing to continue showing her that shell never have to fight for food again.
Valkyrie is proof that resilience comes in tiny packages. Now all she needs is the forever family she deserves
