Jack - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Sweetest pumpkin in the patch! It's Jack O Lantern-a dream dog waiting for his forever family!

Jack is a 5 month old, 10 pound male puppy who is sweet and loving. He is a TOTAL cuddle bug! Jack bonds closely with his human and is happiest when they are around.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Jack's alter ego, SuperJack! He is able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Well, not really, but he's very athletic! Because of his bouncy nature, Jack will need a secure fenced-in yard or he'll need to be on a leash when outside. He is already responding well to training though and he is very manageable and eager to learn and be trained.

Jack is doing great with potty training and does well on a leash. He loves walks and enjoys being outside. Crate training is going well, and he sleeps through the night in his crate quietly.

Jack is dog friendly. Jack's foster family has two K-9 Angel dogs and he does well with both of them. Jack loves to snuggle on the couch and is the perfect companion. He is docile and has the best temperament.

Jack loves a routine and is a fast learner. He deserves lots of love and he will give it back tenfold!

Jack is a male Chihuahua mix with an estimated date of birth of 5/14/26.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
