This handsome 2.5-year-old Chihuahua weighs 12 pounds and is full grown. Bailey is looking for a home where he can be someone's special little sidekick. 🐾❤️

Bailey is a fun, playful guy who enjoys fetch, wrestling, balls, squeaky toys, and chew toys. 🧸🎾 He knows several commands, including sit, stay, and give paw, and his previous family reported that he is great on a leash. 🐕‍🦺 He loves being with his people and may jump up when he gets excited. He also has a silly habit of laying with shoes--although he doesn't chew them! 👟😂

Bailey never lived with other animals but his former owner said he had played with other dogs before. He will definitely let you know someone has arrived at your home. His owner said he was mostly house trained. He was said to be good with kids but we always suggest bringing the children from your home with you to meet a dog you are interested in.

Bailey has been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm and Lyme, and is on flea & tick and heartworm prevention. He has also been dewormed. ❤️

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing to allow enough time to complete the adoption process. 💕We're open Monday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday 11-3 pm. We're located at 9331 State Route 124 Hillsboro, OH. Our adoption is open and easy, please come to the shelter to meet the animals in person to adopt.
