Rosie - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Henderson, Nevada

Rosie came to us from our local shelter with her newborn puppies; they have since found homes while Rosie has remained in one of our foster homes, working on her confidence and trust. We have kept Rosie is a foster home for over 3 months before posting her as available, this sad girl was terrified of people when she joined us. Thanks to an experienced, patient foster mom, Rosie now wakes her up each morning with little taps, letting her know she's ready for breakfast. She gave her first little kiss to her foster mom this past week too! Rosie does best with other dogs, she takes her cues from them and follows their lead for how to respond to things. Rosie is a 10 lb, 4 year old girl who has had a rough life, we are excited to find her forever home where she will be loved. Due to her shyness, we are looking for a quiet home with another dog so we set her up to settle in and thrive as soon as possible. If you have the patience to earn her trust, you will be rewarded with a cute happy dance in the morning and eventually, kisses of love and appreciation.
