HEATHER - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption

Rescued: September 2024
Age at the time of rescue: Approx. 7 years
Current weight: 9 pounds

The sweet little girl was rescued with her daughter when found abandoned on the streets of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Both very skinny, clearly neglected, and staying tucked within each other, we were happy to provide them safety. Sadly both tested positive for heartworm, but treated. Heathers daughter went on to find a forever home while she stayed behind to continue her recovery. Heather is a very happy little lady who is friendly, easy going and simply looking for her family.
