Misty - Chihuahua Dog Available for Adoption in Grand Terrace, California

Little Miss Misty is a 14 year old spayed Chihuaha who loves food but hates dieting. Both of her owners sadly passed on and she was relinquished with her 2 younger sisters to a family friend. Her sisters were adopted and Misty, being a senior has been doing well until recently showing signs of loneliness and possibly needing a perfect paw parent to give her 100% attention.

Misty does have a grade 4 heart murmur which is controlled with daily medicine. She is not a fan of other dogs but has done well with others of all sizes. She would do best in a home with another small sibling or on her own where she can receive all the attention. She is a little slower to move but still has great pep in her step especially if it involves food. This is NOT an urgent rehome. Due to her sharing attention, we will entertain a wonderful home who can spoil her like a princess & keep up with her health needs.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature.
