Meet Margherita!
This two-month-old Chihuahua mix (our best guess!) weighs just 2.7 pounds of pure sweetness. She's a teeny tiny little lady with the softest little face, dainty paws, and the most precious expression that makes you want to scoop her up the second you meet her.

One of the things that makes Margherita so special is her unique little look. She has a thinner, wispy puppy coat that gives her an extra adorable, delicate appearance - as if she forgot to finish growing her puppy fluff before deciding it was time to be cute instead. It just adds to her charm and makes her one-of-a-kind.
Margherita is the definition of a cuddle bug. Her foster family's little human says her favorite thing about Margherita is how incredibly sweet and snuggly she is, and honestly, we couldn't agree more. This tiny girl would much rather curl up in your lap than be the center of attention. She has a gentle, tender heart and loves nothing more than feeling safe and loved by her people.
While she can be a little timid when meeting new things, she's growing braver every single day. Watching her confidence blossom has been one of the sweetest parts of her journey, and with a patient family cheering her on, we know she'll continue to flourish.
Margherita is being raised in a loving foster home with other dogs and does wonderfully with them. She also lives peacefully with kitty friends, making her a great fit for a home with feline family members. She's already doing great with crate training, potty training, and learning all the important puppy routines.
Like all young puppies, Margherita is still learning about the world and will need a family that's excited to continue her training, socialization, and confidence-building as she grows. Every day is a new adventure, and she's looking for someone who will be there to celebrate each little milestone with her.
If you've been dreaming of a tiny best friend with a gentle soul, endless cuddle potential, and enough sweetness to melt your heart, Margherita is ready to become your newest family member. She may only weigh 2.7 pounds, but the love packed into this little girl is absolutely enormous.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog's growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
