Meet Rhoda — Your New Little Love Bug!

Rhoda is a sweet, beautiful one-year-old Chihuahua mix who is just as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside.

She can be a little nervous when you first meet her, but don’t let her initial shyness fool you. With a little baby talk, a gentle approach, and some patience, Rhoda warms up within seconds. Before you know it, she’ll be eating treats from your hand and asking to be held. She loves being cuddled close, where she can feel safe, secure, and loved.

Rhoda is looking for someone who will show her what it means to have a forever home. She is eager to please and would make a wonderful companion. Whether you’re home all day or have a busy schedule, Rhoda would happily settle in beside you and become your favorite little couch potato. She may even become your Velcro dog — your constant companion and favorite shadow!

Because Rhoda is shy and can be startled by fast movements, we recommend that she go to a home without children under the age of seven. A calm, patient environment will help her continue to build confidence and feel secure.

We don’t know what Rhoda experienced before she arrived at ARF, but we do know that she deserved a chance. We took her in so she would not face euthanasia, and now she is ready for the loving forever home she has always deserved.

I call her Rhoda the Love Bug, because that’s exactly what she is. Once she trusts you, she has so much love to give.
