At 13 years old, Carley should be spending her golden years wrapped in warm blankets, enjoying soft beds, gentle walks, and all the love a senior dog deserves.

Instead, she arrived at the shelter heartbreakingly emaciated, so thin that every tiny bone told a story no dog ever should. Right now, Carley is on a carefully monitored refeeding plan, with every meal helping her take one small step toward becoming the healthy little girl she was always meant to be.

Despite everything she's been through, Carley hasn't given up on people.

Carley doesn't need grand adventures. She doesn't need endless hikes or exciting road trips. She simply dreams of something so much smaller... and so much bigger at the same time.
