Hello- my name is Bonita! I am estimated at 4 months old at the end of June and appear to be a chihuahua mix. I came from a rural county shelter with my littermates. I was so very tiny and scared, barely old enough to be away from my mama. Thankfully, we landed here at Guardians of Florida. They helped us with our medical needs and helped us become more social and friendly. Now, we are finally ready to start interviewing for our furever family!

I am expected to stay quite small, likely under 20 lbs. I have typical puppy energy, with short bursts of zoomies occasionally. I am doing pretty good using pee pads, but will need help with a routine to finish my potty training and continued work on leash training.

My $450 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip, and spay at one of my rescue's vets (Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, Naples, Miami or Orlando) when I'm closer to 6 months of age (contractually required).
