Well hello darlin, I am Freckles, and yes, I am just as adorable as my name. Ten whole pounds of love and devotion, thank you very much. If you are looking at my pictures and thinking, that little girl has the sweetest face, you would be absolutely right.

I came into a Kentucky rescue after being picked up as a stray alongside Chicklet. I waited and waited while the nice folks made sure everyone had a chance to find me. From the very first day, I leaned right in for love. No growling, no sass, just soft eyes and wagging tail.

I am three years old, just a young lady with my whole life ahead of me. I am housebroken, though like many little bitty dogs, I can have a small oops here and there. I promise it's because I get so excited to see you. I am a very good girl who truly wants to please.

If you want to know my favorite thing, it is being close. Curled up next to you, tucked into a cozy blanket (I also like to wiggle my way under one for extra warmth), or perched beside you soaking up attention, that is my happy place. I get along well with other dogs like seen in some of my photos so get your fur ball ready for some snuggles.

I have a gentle spirit and a tender heart. I will look at you like you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, because you will be. I do not need fancy things, just patience, kindness, and a lap I can call my own. In return, you will get ten pounds of loyalty, sweetness, and unconditional love.
