Bonny is an adorable 8-9-year-old chihuahua mix senior girl weighing just 15 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all of her vaccines. Most importantly, she has a heart full of love that she’s desperately hoping to share with someone special.

When Bonny’s owner was arrested, she was left behind with no one to care for her. Through no fault of her own, this sweet girl lost everything she knew. Now she waits in a shelter, wondering when someone will come for her.

Despite all she’s been through, Bonny remains loving, gentle, and incredibly sweet. She still has a goofy side that will make you smile, and she tries her very best to keep her kennel clean. She’s learning to walk nicely on a leash and is always eager to please.

But if you ask Bonny what she wants most, the answer is simple: a lap to curl up in and a person to love.
She doesn’t need grand adventures or endless excitement. She just wants a soft bed, gentle pets, and the comfort of knowing she belongs to someone again. She wants a family who will treasure her for the wonderful dog she is and give her the happy ending she deserves.

Senior dogs have a special way of loving us. Bonny is ready to prove it.
