Meet your new favorite elf, Dobby!
Dobby is a 2.5 year old (DOB March 2024) Chihuahua mix, weighing in around 13 pounds. Dobby has notably long legs and adorably floppy ears. Due to a recent death in his family, Dobby is looking for a new forever home. Could yours be the family Dobby’s looking for?
Dobby’s favorite activities, other than eating and chewing on his sock, are running and chasing balls outside. He loves to sun bathe in the yard and will find those perfect spots to lay out and chill! He knows how to protect his yard from squirrels and birds and will need a fence to run in at his new forever home. Dobby has some manners and knows some commands- he’s a smart boy! He is leash trained and wears a harness, however he does bark at other dogs on walks and may need more training in this area. He is doing great with the other dogs in his foster home, though he may do best in a home without cats. Though he may seem skittish in certain situations, he settles down once he feels comfortable. He loves company and will show you when he’s very excited by jumping very high or going and fetching his favorite sock for you.
Dobby is crate trained for sleeping and when his humans leave the house. It is his safe place and he goes in his crate when he needs time to himself. Dobby behaves well at the vet’s and groomer’s.
Dobby is neutered and up to date with all of his vaccinations. He is on heartworm prevention and is microchipped.
Dobby’s adoption donation is $300.
