DESCRIPTION
FOSTER-TO-ADOPT ONLY
This handsome little guy is Toby, he is said to be a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix weighing in at just around 7 pounds of pure sweetness. And trust us, he has plenty of personality packed into those 7 pounds!
Toby is a happy, friendly little guy who loves to run, play, and then curl up for some quality cuddle time when he's ready to recharge. He does great with other dogs and seems to enjoy having furry friends around.
He is potty trained, although like any pup entering a new environment, he'll need a consistent routine to help him settle in and keep up the good habits. We were also told he does well with cats, and he hasn't seemed bothered by the cats at our rescue center. Of course, any future introductions should still be done slowly and properly.
Toby is currently available as a Foster-to-Adopt! He hasn't been neutered yet, but he'll be getting on the schedule soon. We would absolutely love to find him a family now so that, if everything is a good fit, he can potentially recover from his neuter in the home he'll call forever.
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The Yorkshire Terrier, also known as Yorkie, is a small and glamorous toy dog breed known for its long, flowing coat and spirited personality. Originating from England, these affectionate and intelligent dogs make wonderful companions for individuals and families alike. With a weight of around 7 pounds, Yorkies are portable and adaptable, thriving in both city apartments and rural settings. Despite their small size, they possess a bold and confident nature, always ready for fun and adventure.
