Meet Chachi — a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her personality! This sweet, confident girl is a cuddle bug, playful sidekick, and self-appointed neighborhood supervisor. Chachi is incredibly motherly and nurturing, always keeping an eye on what everyone is up to — because yes, she is delightfully nosy and proud of it.
She loves to play, snuggle close on the couch, and be part of whatever her people are doing. Her sweet disposition makes her easy to love, and she does wonderfully meeting new dogs with a calm, friendly attitude. She is currently being fostered with her brother, Marshall, and with two resident chihuahuas. She loves to cuddle and play with all of the pups and is her brother's defender - her motherly nature kicks in if any of the pups get too rough.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who will keep you entertained, shower you with affection, and happily supervise your daily routine, Chachi may just be your perfect match!
**This pet is currently being fostered in Corpus Christi, Texas but is available for transport to the destination in which they are listed. We handle transport logistics!

Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue that adopts cats and dogs from South Texas to the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and the East Coast. The adoption process consists of an application, reference checks, phone interview, and video chat with the pet and foster parent!
The adoption fee of $650 includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, DHPP and booster, and Bordatella), microchip with free lifetime registration, deworming, transport, heartworm test, heartworm and flea prevention during the pet's time in our program as well as 2 free months of heartworm and flea prevention to be sent in their adoption packet!
We are volunteers with a passion to reduce the stray population and unnecessary euthanasia in South Texas. According to Shelter Animals Count, an almost 100,000 cats and dogs were euthanized in Texas shelters in 2024. By transporting our adoptable pets to areas with fewer unwanted pets, they have a better chance of quickly finding loving homes, while also freeing up space in Texas shelters and giving more local animals a chance at life.
