Meet Drago, your future forever-lap companion! Drago is a sweet, senior who can't wait to settle in with his person and become the best shadow and co-pilot. He's house-broken, rarely barks, and does great on easy leash walks. Drago is a social, confident little guy with a big heart. He is indifferent to cats and he's happy to see other dogs and children - perfect for a home that's calm, friendly and full of gentle connection. And while he's an affectionate cuddler, there is still plenty of spunk and playfulness in him. Ideal home: someone who enjoys relaxed walks, lap-time affection, and a sweet companion who is eager to bond. I’m currently in a loving foster home offsite! Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.

A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.

For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.

After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.

These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
