Who wants to snuggle with me?

I am a confident little boy who likes things to go my way and can be a bit bossy when I don't get it. I am very active and I am always running everywhere, which has earned me the nickname "Speedy Gonzales." I have achieved Grand Master status in the Arts of Food Thievery and Confinement Escape. I love to snuggle and get scratches from my humans and I always wants to be with them.

General Socialization Notes:
I am mostly potty trained but should be supervised when going outside, both for my safety (due to my size), but also to make sure I go potty. I am also familiar with using potty pads indoors. I am NOT a fan of cold weather and I love to snuggle in sweaters, beds, or with stuffed animals to stay warm. I know how to "sit" and have become well-acquainted with kennels while in my foster home. I enjoy going for walks. Handling for me, is not bad, with only mild annoyance and some struggling when getting my nails trimmed. I do bark a bit at people coming into the house or things outside.

Does Chico like other animals?
I can be noisy and will bark at other dogs to get them to play with me. While I do well with most dogs, I like to be in control and sometimes I do not react well when corrected by them. I am fine with cats, though I may occasionally chase them for fun. I would also likely do fine as an only dog and might enjoy getting all the love.

Does Chico like children?
I would do best in a home with older children, 12 years old and older.

Favorite Toys:
I love all types of toys: hard, soft, big or small and I like them all. I also enjoy snacks, cow hooves, and bully sticks, though I should go easy so I can maintain my ideal weight.

Ideal Forever Home:
I'd love a family that understands my needs. I also would love a family that spends lots of time with me because once I feel safe, I love spending time with my humans. I'd do best in a home with older children. I could do okay with another dog or I could also be an only dog.
