Hello, I'm Oscar. I am a very fearful little dog, rescued from a difficult situation, and I am looking for a definitive, very patient home to help me heal.
Living in a busy or noisy environment is completely overwhelming for me, which is why a calm home without young children is essential. I need a family that understands deep-seated fear, gives me my own space, and has the infinite patience required to learn how to slowly trust people.
I still struggle a lot to manage my fear in everyday situations: I tend to run away when someone tries to grab me, and if I feel cornered, I curl up into a ball and can even urinate or defecate out of pure terror. Because of this, I am looking for someone with prior experience handling severe fears who understands my body language and will lovingly guide me through my rehabilitation process.
Do you have a calm space, a big heart, and the patience for a scared little dog like me?

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
