Terry - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Terry is a super sweet, gentle soul who is looking for a soft place to land and a temporary home to heal. Sadly, his human family is no longer able to care for him, and this resilient boy is now in urgent need of a dedicated foster family to guide him through his next chapter. Terry carries the quiet strength of a dog who has been through a lot but still has a massive amount of love left to give.

Terry is a remarkably calm and friendly dog who can be just a little timid when meeting new people or entering unfamiliar places. Once he knows he is safe, his sweet personality truly shines. He is dealing with an old injury from being hit by a car, which has left his back right leg compromised. While he walks remarkably well considering his condition, his leg may ultimately need to be amputated. He takes everything in stride and is completely content with being carried whenever he needs a little extra help getting around.

This heartfelt boy doesn't need an elaborate setup or a massive backyard-he just needs a small, quiet space in a warm home where he can feel secure. In return, Terry has a huge space in his heart just waiting to be filled with your love, patience, and care during his recovery. He is already neutered and completely ready to find comfort in a compassionate foster home.

Don't wait to meet Terry!
