Peanut - Chihuahua and Rat Terrier Dog for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Peanut was taken to a shelter we help because she was pregnant, and her former owner did not want puppies. She was going to be euthanized because the shelter was full. One of our fosters agreed to help her just in time so we were able to save her. Peanut had her babies after coming into our care, and she has been a wonderful mother to them. She has now completed her veterinary care, and she is ready to find her person.

Peanut is a sweet little girl. She is a snuggler and will be perfectly happy to lay next to you. She is already leash trained and house trained. She likes any dogs she meets, and she has done great with kids too.

Peanut is 1 and 1/2 years old and weighs 27 pounds. We think she is a Chihuahua or Terrier mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
