Tattie - Miniature Dachshund and Chiweenie Dog Available for Adoption in Austin, Texas

Tattie was found as a stray in a rural town and taken to a shelter we help. She was pregnant, and the shelter was full so we had to rescue her quickly. One of our selfless fosters agreed to bring Tattie into her home, so she gave birth to her puppies in a safe place. She has been in our care since the first week of April. She was a great mama to her puppies, and now she’s ready for her forever home!

Tattie is a very affectionate girl, and she loves any attention she can get. She follows her foster around the house and loves to be your pal. She is a cuddly girl and will hang out on a comfy blanket as long as you’ll let her. Tattie gets along with other dogs of all ages and sizes, and she also cat friendly.

Tattie is a Dachshund mix. She is 1 year old and weighs 15 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. If you're looking for a sweet girl to add to your family, we hope you’ll choose Tattie.
