DESCRIPTION
Meet Sherry!
Sweet Sherry is an 11-year-old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a soft place to land and someone to remind her that her best days are still ahead.
Sherry came to the shelter as a stray, and at 23 pounds, she's a little bigger than your typical Chihuahua—but that only means there's more of her to love! She walks nicely on a semi-loose leash and is happy to take things at a gentle pace.
At the shelter, Sherry quickly showed her appreciation for the simple comforts in life. Because of her age, staff gave her a cozy dog bed, and when they passed by later, there she was—quietly curled up and enjoying her little spot.
There's something especially sweet about a senior dog who doesn't ask for much: a comfortable bed, a peaceful place to rest, and a person who will love her for exactly who she is.
Sherry is heartworm negative, spayed, and ready for the next chapter of her life. We'd love for that chapter to be filled with soft beds, gentle walks, lots of love, and a family of her own.
Sherry has waited long enough. Could you be the person who gives this sweet senior girl the forever home she deserves?
