**Meet Nova!**

Nova and her brother, Kane, came to our rescue after their previous owner experienced a difficult life change. Following a heartbreaking breakup, she was forced to move into housing that does not allow pets, and surrendering them was an incredibly difficult decision made out of love.

Nova is a 1-year-old Chihuahua with a gentle, shy personality. She can be a little timid when meeting new people and in new environments, but with patience and kindness, she begins to come out of her shell. Once she feels safe, Nova is a sweet, loving companion who enjoys being close to her people.

She is looking for a calm, patient home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to build confidence and thrive. Watching Nova learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and she will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to let her settle in at her own pace.
