Isadora, affectionately known as Izzy, is an adorable 15-pound mixed-breed girl with a heart far bigger than her tiny frame.

At approximately 2 years old, Izzy is a sweet, affectionate pup who simply loves being close to her people. Izzy is a bed sleeper, and couch cuddler. She thrives on attention, is food motivated, and seems happiest when she can be by your side.

Izzy is a lap dog but can have bursts of energy and be a little bouncy. However her gentle nature makes her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a smaller, loving and loyal addition to their home. She currently resides with multiple nice dogs her size and cats.

Izzy is looking for a patient and understanding family who will continue to support her as she builds confidence and makes progress with her potty and crate training.

Medical Note: Izzy is currently completing her heartworm treatment and is doing very well. You Lucky Dog Rescue will cover the full cost of treatment. Heartworm disease is fully treatable, and her prognosis is excellent. Once treatment is complete, keeping her on a monthly heartworm preventative (which all dogs should receive as part of routine care) will help ensure she remains heartworm-free for years to come.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size.
