Georgia is settling in to her foster home. She is one of the more fearful of the group she arrived with, but we can see in her eyes that she wants so badly to love and trust humans. We're very hopeful that she will after some time to decompress and a little Dogwood TLC.

Georgia is an adorable Chihuahua/Pug type mix and is a petite girl, probably just under 10 pounds and maybe a year old. After some time to settle in and her vet exam, we may update these estimates.

Six small female dogs were living in a crummy outdoor kennel and all were either pregnant or soon to be pregnant. We agreed to take all six in order to stop the cycle of reproduction and had planned to spay/abort immediately if possible. With the devastating overpopulation crisis, and so many unwanted puppies already born and breathing and waiting without hope, it's truly the kindest thing. One little mama actually delivered before getting on transport. She will raise her family in love and comfort in her Dogwood foster home, and then she and pups will be spayed/neutered and placed in loving homes, as will the other girls.
