DESCRIPTION
Hi! I'm Twinkie, a cuddly little boy around 10 weeks old. We aren’t sure of my exact breed mix but it’s possible there’s some Chihuahua in there. I’m only predicted to be around 20-25 pounds, the perfect lap size! I love playing with my friends here, both two-legged and four-legged. I also love to cuddle and be carried around in your arms. Every day is a new adventure, and I'm always excited to share my joy and playful spirit. Whether we're playing fetch or snuggling, I'm all about fun and affection. I dream of a forever home where I can bring smiles and laughter. If you're looking for a loyal friend to add joy to your days, I'm your pup!
Twinkie has been vaccinated and microchipped. He is too young to neuter but that is included with the adoption. For the first steps of adoption submit an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application. For questions you can email the foster home at julianshumate@gmail.com.
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
