Meet Sug!

This little lady came in with a small-breed male dog. She was very pregnant at the time and just three days after arrival, gave birth to Flour.

She spent the next few months in foster rearing her baby and is now ready for a home of her own.

Sugar is as sweet as her name (and yes... she knows it). If you’re looking for a certified cuddle expert, she’s already submitted her résumé and is ready to start immediately.

Her favorite hobbies include:
- Snuggling like it’s a full-time job
- Supervising the backyard zoomies
- Alerting you to any suspicious activity (read: literally anything new ever)

Sugar does have a bit of a "security system" built in—she likes to bark at new people, animals, or changes at first. But give her a minute to process, and she warms up beautifully. Once she decides you’re part of her circle, you’re in for life.

She gets along well with dogs, cats, kids, and pretty much anyone willing to offer snacks and a cozy lap. She’d be just as happy as your one-and-only or with a furry sibling.

She also has a slight knee quirk, but don’t let that fool you—it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s still fully committed to her dual lifestyle of "let’s go outside!" followed immediately by "let’s never move again."

She would do best in a loving home that understands she may need a moment to adjust—and then will reward you with endless affection.
