Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher Dogs Available for Adoption in New Haven, Connecticut

Tia is a special girl who is shy at first, but once she is comfortable- she will be your little shadow.
She is so cute, mellow, and an easy keeper for her foster. She is anywhere from around 6.5-8 years old and around 10lbs. She was found stray, without microchip and landed in a high kill shelter. We were happy to welcome this deserving girl into rescue. She is quiet, enjoys car rides, and likes to be close once she is comfortable. She will require an adopter to let her come out of her shell in a transition setting to her forever home. Tia is good with dogs of all sizes, and enjoys human attention.

-working on potty training and is doing well in her foster’s routine and with pads in a gated area, too
-is good on leash
-does well in her crate or gated area
-enjoys treats
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard
-will make a great companion, and a great lap dog to a loving family
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments and errands with her foster
-did well for her grooming/bath
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped
