Chihuahua and Miniature Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Hopkinton, Massachusetts

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.

Meet Persimmon! Persimmon is approximately 8 years old, 7 lb currently, and may have some Chiweenie in her mix. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house training, crate-training, and leash walking. She could join households with teenagers, cats, and other small dogs.

Her foster says, "This sweet little Chiweenie has grown emotionally by leaps and bounds. Persimmon (Persi) is turning into the silliest clown dog. She is playful, loving, enjoys other dogs and her humans. She is pretty darn amazing. She is both dog and cat friendly. Because of her delicate size and shyness, she would probably do better in a quiet household without small children. She is used to a fenced play yard, but she is doing better on a leash. She can use a doggy door and has been great with potty training. Spayed and up to date on immunizations and heartworm prevention, 7 lbs."
