Chihuahua and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Calgary, Alberta

Ian is a 3 month old chihuahua cross currently weighing 7 lbs. He was rescued with her four siblings when some kind rescuers saw her mamma Chiquis scavenging for garbage and they could see that she'd just had pups. The young family was taken into sanctuary on the outskirts of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. His mum is full grown at 14 lbs, so we think Ian will be a small dog as well. He has lived there with her mum, siblings and alot of cats since, but is now ready for a forever home. Ian has travel options to Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver coming up in May. The boys in the litter are a bit more shy than their sisters and having lived so far in a shelter they might appreciate transitioning to a quieter home, maybe even with another dog to show them the way. He is healthy and has had age appropriate vaccines. He is too young still to be spayed.
