Meg is the kind of dog who feels like home the moment you meet her.
She has such a calm, gentle presence that makes everything around her feel a little more peaceful. Meg is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate—she truly just wants to be near her people, soaking up pets and quietly keeping you company. Whether she’s curled up beside you on the couch or softly following you from room to room, she’s happiest simply being part of your everyday life.

Around 5 years old, Meg is past the puppy chaos and has settled into the perfect balance of relaxed and playful. She enjoys her toys and will happily join in on some fun, but she’s definitely more of a chill, easygoing girl who matches your energy. If you’re having a laid-back day, she’s right there with you, content and cozy.
Meg is currently thriving in her foster home, where she’s shown just how adaptable and well-mannered she is. She does great with many types of dogs and handles new situations with a calm, steady attitude. She’s also wonderful with cats and truly seems to get along with everyone she meets. Meg has a very kind, respectful way about her that makes her an easy addition to a multi-pet home.
Because of her more relaxed nature, Meg would do best in a home with older kids. She absolutely loves people, but very high-energy, chaotic environments can be a bit much for her at times—she much prefers a calmer, more predictable space where she can fully relax and be her sweet self.
What really makes Meg special is how deeply she loves. She forms strong bonds with her people and gives her affection so freely and genuinely. She’s not demanding, just devoted—the kind of dog who will always be by your side, offering quiet comfort and unconditional love.
If you’re looking for a dog who is calm, affectionate, great with other animals, and brings a steady, loving presence into your home, Meg is truly something special. She’s ready to find her forever family and give them all the love she has to offer.
All she needs now is a place to belong.

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
