Darling Bailey is quick to win your heart with her big brown eyes and sweet personality!
Bailey is estimated to be around 4 years old and is a charming girl who is eager for attention. She is the epitome of a lap dog and loves to be by your side for whatever the day brings. She is a moderate energy gal who loves her neighborhood walks and couch cuddles. Bailey is fully grown and weighs about 10lbs.
Bailey came to us from an overcrowded animal shelter in Central California. She came into the shelter with a male dog, who was quickly adopted, and struggled to adjust to not having her buddy. We were more than happy to have her come to us so that she could be safe in a foster home until she could be adopted. Bailey has happily settled into life in a foster home and can't wait to be your new best friend.
Bailey is an affectionate girl who enjoys making new friends. She recently took a trip to a dog-friendly store and was happy to walk up to people for attention and soak up all the love. She is a big fan of cuddles and is a velcro dog who likes to keep you company while you work from home or run errands around town. Bailey gives the best kisses and would be an ideal companion for someone who wants a baby to love. Bailey walks well on leash and is overall a well-mannered girl. She doesn't seem to know tricks, like sit, so she would need some work on her training.
Bailey has been doing very well living with other small dogs, but also seems like she would be more than happy to be your one and only. Bailey needs a kitty-free home. Bailey may do well in a home with kids 10 years and older.
Bailey has been very good with her housetraining. She seems like she may have previously lived in an apartment, as she will only potty on walks. She is used to sleeping in bed with her foster parents and would do best in a home where she doesn't have to be left alone for long or often.
Bailey is such a wonderful girl, and we know she is going to make a great companion for someone lucky. If you think that might be you, submit an application today!
Bailey's adoption fee is $300.

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes.
Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption.
