DESCRIPTION
Oliver (A141263) is a 3-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever who weighed 66.6 pounds on intake. 07/15/26 This handsomely curly boy is Oliver! Oliver was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own, because his owner was PCSing to Hawaii and was having difficulty moving with him. He was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate pup! Oliver has historically done well with people of all ages, including babies and children, but when excited he does like to jump up. He was also stated to do well with other dogs, but has no experience with cats. While at the shelter, we have found him to be overly curious about smaller critters, so he may do best in a home without cats to help him succeed. As always, it is important to make appropriate introductions. Oliver was said to be kennel-trained, housebroken, rides well in a car, and generally minds well. He is a sweet boy, looking to find his right fit! If you are interested in meeting Oliver, please let us know!
