DESCRIPTION
Esther is a sweet and active girl looking for her forever home. She is around 1 year old and weighs approx. 35 pounds. We pulled her and her five puppies (the Christmas Story litter) from animal control. Now that her puppies are old enough to leave the nest, Esther can focus on finding her own happy ending!
She is super loving and never meets a stranger. She loves to meet and play with other dogs but isn't fond of sharing her food (which is completely understandable in our humble opinion!).
She is still working on her leash training and overall manners. Esther would love an active family as she does not get tired easily. Her motto is "Go! Go! Go!". Esther loves to be outside. She has a lot of potential to unpack!
Esther is potentially cat friendly as she has lived in a home with a cat but will chase and play rough. She has a herding instinct that kicks in when faced with a cat or small puppy/dog that runs.
ABOUT: CATTLE DOG DOG BREED
The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
